Ciara Langston met Aria Simuel in high school. After that, they followed one another to Los Angeles for college, where they remained close during significant life events. Ciara chose to pursue surrogacy in 2013, and Aria was there to support her every step. Ciara’s surrogacy journeys resulted in three children being born. Ciara discussed launching her agency in 2016. Later that year, they aligned their visions at Aria’s bachelorette party. What followed was a business plan to launch their surrogacy service. Aria became the agency’s first surrogate, delivering a healthy baby girl for their first family from Michigan. Aria and Ciara are the country’s newest women of color-owned agency. Adding their brand to the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) practitioners’ ranks is a much-needed milestone.
The doors of opportunity opened.
